Opis
Angels Landing (1,763 m) in Zion National Park, Utah, is arguably the most famous short hike in the United States. The trail climbs steeply through the canyon, passes through a narrow fin of rock with sheer 360-metre drops on both sides, and ends at a summit with breathtaking views of Zion Canyon. Steel chains bolted into the rock assist hikers on the final 500-metre exposed section.

Not suitable for people with fear of heights — 370 m drops. Start early to avoid heat and crowds. Zion NP entrance: $35/vehicle. Shuttle bus to trailhead (cars not permitted on Zion Canyon Scenic Drive).
