Opis
Kriváň (2,494 m) is one of the most beloved mountains in Slovakia — its distinctive crooked summit silhouette has been a national symbol since the 19th century and appears on Slovak coins. Every five years, the "Kriváň Pilgrimage" draws thousands of walkers. The standard hike starts from Podbanské and climbs through beautiful forests before the exposed final ridge, making it a demanding but rewarding day hike.
