Opis
Praděd (1,491 m) is the highest peak of the Jeseníky range and the highest point of Moravia. A television transmitter tower with an observation deck stands on the summit. The surrounding Jeseníky Protected Landscape Area contains remarkable subalpine peat bogs and the highest concentration of spring gentians in Central Europe. The hike from Ovčárna (1,390 m) is short but the full ascent from Karlova Studánka is rewarding.
