Opis
Sněžka (1,603 m) is the highest mountain in the Czech Republic and the Giant Mountains (Krkonoše) range, straddling the Czech-Polish border. Its distinctive rounded summit hosts a meteorological station, post office, and a saucer-shaped restaurant designed by Czech architect Karel Hubáček in 1976. The mountain sees up to half a million visitors per year and is accessible by cable car from Pec pod Sněžkou.
