Description
Velká Deštná (1,115 m) is the highest peak of the Orlické hory (Eagle Mountains) along the Czech-Polish border. The massif is characterised by gentle ridges, meadows, and mixed forests — a landscape shaped by centuries of linen weaving culture. The summit area is part of a nature reserve protecting rare glacial relic plant species. The region is excellent for cycling and Nordic skiing.
